Firewall
Control traffic between the classroom network, other school segments, and the internet.

The classroom firewall applies allow and block rules to traffic leaving and entering the learning network. Learning applications that a lesson depends on can be permitted. Destinations and inbound paths that the classroom does not need can be refused.
Classrooms, staff systems, and guest access can sit on separate segments so a device in one place is not automatically trusted everywhere else. Connection decisions are logged for later review.
What it covers
- Allow and block rules for learning applications
- Separation between classrooms, staff, and guests
- Logs of permitted and refused connections
- Limits on direct access to classroom systems from outside
